Dishwasher FAQ
- Where is the reference located on my device?
On the nameplate you will find the references of your device. You will find it on the edge of the dishwasher door or on the front, on the contour. Here are some tips to help you spot it easily.
Find the references of a device on its nameplate
The nameplate is a real identity card for your device (E-Nr / FD) . It contains all the useful information to access all our services:
The drain hose is clogged, kinked, or pushed in too far.
Check that no foreign bodies are blocking the pipe or siphon. Make sure the pipe is not kinked or pushed in too far which can happen during installation.
The drain pump is clogged. Refer to your instructions for cleaning the pump. And make sure the pump cover is correctly positioned and locked.
- My device works but it doesn't take on water
Check that the tap is open, otherwise, check the flow rate coming out of the water inlet tap as follows:
1. Close the water inlet valve
2. Disconnect the water inlet hose / Aqua-Stop from the device
3. Check and, if necessary, clean the filter located at the water inlet hose / Aqua-Stop of the device.
4. Place a bucket under the water inlet tap and open it fully. If the water flow is too low (less than 10 l/min), please contact a plumber. Please note, self-piercing taps are not recommended.
5. Reconnect the hose and open the water inlet valve.
6. Turn on the device and restart the program.
- My dishwasher turns on but won't start
Using your instructions for use, carry out a “reset”. Programs and options are reset. Your dishwasher is ready for the next wash cycle. Make sure your dishwasher door is securely closed.
- The walls of the tank are damp
The presence of condensation and droplets on the walls of your tank at the end of the cycle proves the effectiveness and smooth running of the drying stage. Water that evaporates from the dishes condenses on the walls of the dishwasher.
- The dishes are not dry
Check the setting of the rinse aid dispenser, it should not be set too low. Rinse aid is important because it ensures effective drying.
- My device does not drain, it remains full of water
Make sure the program is finished. Check that the drain hose is not kinked, clogged or pushed in too far. Your filters and pump are dirty or clogged. Refer to your instructions for cleaning your filters and the drain pump.
- The wash cycle is long
This is not an anomaly ! By optimizing the quantity of water and the washing temperature, the duration can be extended without affecting the washing result. This helps reduce the energy consumption of the device.
- I have residue on the cutlery
Avoid overlapping dishes and overloading the cutlery basket. Adapt the detergent by favoring the use of separate powder, salt and rinse aid. Select a program best suited to the type and degree of soiling by referring to the program table in your user manual.
- My cutlery is pitted with rust
Use cutlery that is resistant to machine washing. Knife blades, even stainless steel, are subject to this phenomenon. Do not wash items that rust in the dishwasher (stove) because rust may accumulate on the surface of steel products that do not rust.
- Can I wash my silver cutlery in the dishwasher?
Do not overload the cutlery basket as the detergent should not remain in contact with the silverware. To avoid this phenomenon, you can use the shiny silver cassette
- How to remove the end of cycle ringtone?
Please refer to your instructions for use to carry out the handling.
- Is it possible to put a cabinet door on a built-in dishwasher because you indicate "covering impossible"?
Yes, on a built-in or fully built-in dishwasher, you must put a cabinet door. However, you cannot install a decorative plate that is only one or two millimeters thick.
- The door of my built-in dishwasher does not stay in the down position
To ensure that your door remains in the lower position, it is necessary to install your furniture door on the device. The weight will then be sufficient to hold the door in the lower position.
- Can I plug my appliance into the hot water supply?
Yes, only if the water inlet temperature does not exceed 60°.
